Indian Coast Guard has published an advertisement for Recruitment. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications online from September 8, 2023. The candidate can apply for only one post viz. either Navik (DB) or Navik (GD) or Yantrik (Mechanical) or Yantrik (Electrical) or Yantrik (Electronics) in one recruitment cycle. If the candidate fills multiple applications in one particular recruitment cycle, then his latest filled application will be accepted and all previously filled applications will be rejected. However, the examination fees for multiple applications filled will not be refunded. Online application will be further scrutinised for eligibility and may be rejected at any stage if found ineligible in any respect.

Candidates are to fill the online application form with due care as no changes are allowed in the application after closing date of application. Any false information in online application will lead to cancellation of candidature. Candidates must have valid e-mail ID and mobile no. for successful online registration. Candidates who are eligible and interested can submit an application form till the 22nd September 2023. To apply online the direct link will be activated on 08th September 2023.
The selection of candidate is based on All India order of merit based on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV (Please read full advt.),meeting the laid down medical standards during medical examination and the number of vacancies available for the post. Clearing of Stage-I, II, III, IV and satisfactory performance in training is compulsory for recruitment in ICG.

Indian Coast Guard Vacancy 2023
Total 350 Posts are available within the Indian Coast Guard for the positions of Yantrik and Navik. Out of this total 350 Posts, 260 positions are designated for Navik (General Duty), 30 are reserved for Navik (Domestic Branch), and the remaining 60 positions are specifically allocated for Yantrik.
It should be noted that the details of candidate (Name, Identity proof details, DoB) mentioned in online application & E-admit card will be matched with Identity proof (Aadhar Card OR PAN Card OR Voter ID card OR Driving License OR Passport) uploaded by candidate in online application. Any discrepancy in Name/DoB/Identity card no./Photograph in above documents with respect to information in online application & E-admit card will lead to cancellation of candidature.
Indian Coast Guard Eligibility Criteria’s 2023
Eligibility criteria for the post of Yantrik or Navik under ICG Recruitment 2023 in terms of educational qualification and age limit are listed below.
Educational Qualification
Navik (GD) – Must have passed the intermediate examination with PCM stream from a recognized board.
Navik (DB) – Must have passed the matriculation examination from a recognized board.
Yantrik – Matriculation + 3 or 4 years Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering OR Intermediate + 2 or 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering
Age Limit
Navik (GD/DB) & Yantrik – Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years. Candidates should be born between 01 May 2002 to 30 Apr 2006 (both dates inclusive) applying for post of Navik (DB), Navik (GD) and Yantrik.
